2017 Spring Provider Training Workshop  

You and your staff are invited to attend the 2017 Spring SoonerCare Provider Training Workshops hosted by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) and DXC Technology.    

OHCA and DXC highly recommend that all providers, office managers/administrators and their staff attend this workshop! We will be covering important information and topics.  

Classes include:
SoonerCare101, Beyond 101, Medical Authorization Tips, Third Party Liability Logistics, SoonerCare Changes and Updates, Dental Policy and Prior Authorization, Upper Payment Limit Program, Lead Poisoning Prevention 101, and Health Literacy
    

OHCA and DXC highly recommend that all providers attend this workshop!

SoonerCare Webinar Training 

OHCA and DXC Technology are excited to announce Webinar training sessions! Webinars will address topics for certain provider types that are relevant and timely for you and your staff. These trainings will last approximately one hour.

 

Completing the Claim Inquiry Form (HCA-17) Webinar

The Completing the Claim Inquiry Form (HCA-17) webinar will cover the appropriate way to fill out the Claim Inquiry Form (HCA-17).

This webinar is recommended for billing personnel for all SoonerCare provider types.

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101 is designed to educate office staff about billing and procedural aspects of Oklahoma SoonerCare. SoonerCare 101 is comprised of two classes to assist providers in understanding some of the general SoonerCare policies and how to bill claims to the SoonerCare program through the OHCA Provider Portal. There are two classes offered: Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare and the Provider Secure Site. Class curriculum is applicable to all provider types.

This training is not limited to a specific provider type, yet serves as a  general overview of all aspects of the Oklahoma SoonerCare program. 

Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare will discuss covered services for adults and children, some additional programs that are supported by OHCA and general policy information. The Provider Portal Class curriculum is applicable to all provider types and will cover how to log into the portal, how to check member eligibility, the process of claim submission, claim inquiries, prior authorization submission/inquiries and other aspects of the SoonerCare Provider Portal.

These sessions are held in Oklahoma City and Tulsa every other month.
