OHCA and DXC Technology are excited to announce Webinar training sessions! Webinars will address topics for certain provider types that are relevant and timely for you and your staff. These trainings will last approximately one hour.


Third Party Liability Webinar

OHCA and DXC will be presenting a Third Party Liability (TPL) Webinar on Thursday, August 17, at 2 p.m. This webinar will cover how to bill claims when SoonerCare is secondary to private insurance (Medicare and HMOs) and includes how to bill SoonerCare with TPL through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), the Provider Portal, and on paper. This webinar is recommended for all billing providers who accept primary insurance in addition to SoonerCare.

Dental Prior Authorization Webinar  

OHCA and DXC will be presenting a Dental Prior Authorization Webinar on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 2 p.m. This webinar will include how to submit dental prior authorizations on the portal, how to add pending documents, and how to view prior authorizations. This webinar is recommended for all dental providers and dental billing staff.

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101

Oklahoma SoonerCare 101 is designed to educate office staff about billing and procedural aspects of Oklahoma SoonerCare. SoonerCare 101 is comprised of two classes to assist providers in understanding some of the general SoonerCare policies and how to bill claims to the SoonerCare program through the OHCA Provider Portal. There are two classes offered: Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare and the Provider Secure Site. Class curriculum is applicable to all provider types.

This training is not limited to a specific provider type, yet serves as a  general overview of all aspects of the Oklahoma SoonerCare program. 

Introduction to Oklahoma SoonerCare will discuss covered services for adults and children, some additional programs that are supported by OHCA and general policy information. The Provider Portal Class curriculum is applicable to all provider types and will cover how to log into the portal, how to check member eligibility, the process of claim submission, claim inquiries, prior authorization submission/inquiries and other aspects of the SoonerCare Provider Portal.

These sessions are held in Oklahoma City and Tulsa every other month.
