Boards & Committees
Our boards and committees are groups of health professionals, providers, advocates and elected officials who ensure that decisions are made to best serve the beneficiaries’ needs while maintaining the fiscal integrity of the agency.
- OHCA Board
The Board directs the actions and oversees the operation of the Health Care Authority. Board members are appointed by the governor, president pro tempore of the Senate and the speaker of the House.
- Behavioral Health Advisory Council
The Behavioral Health Advisory Council (BHAC) brings together consumers, providers, advocates and state agencies to discuss policy and systems issues, educate and share viewpoints, gain insight into other agencies’ policies, and recommend policy and system to OHCA to enable them to better serve consumer needs on a continuing basis.
- Child Health Advisory Task Force
The Task Force assists in developing improved benefits and services for Oklahoma’s low income families.
- Drug Utilization Review (DUR) Board
DUR advises OHCA about the appropriate and optimal use of pharmaceuticals for Oklahoma Medicaid recipients.
- Living Choice Advisory Committee
The Living Choice Advisory Committee (LCAC) will advise and assist the OHCA and its partner agencies in the design, development and implementation of the Living Choice program.
- Medical Advisory Committee (MAC)
MAC assists the OHCA in policy issues and quality standards of the Medicaid program.
- Perinatal Task Force
The Perinatal Task Force focuses on issues affecting women’s health.
